The Story

How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted (Josh Radnor) and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted's best friend, Marshall (Jason Segel), dropped the bombshell that he was going to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Lily (Alyson Hannigan), a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realized that he had better get a move on if he, too, hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest is his friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), a confirmed bachelor with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin (Cobie Smulders), he's sure it's love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future.

Friday will see Series 2 of "The Secret Diary of a Call Girl" by Billie Piper

'Call Girl' star found Piper kisses 'awkward'

'Call Girl' star found Piper kisses 'awkward'
Secret Diary Of A Call Girl star Callum Blue has admitted that he felt 'awkward' when he filmed kissing scenes with Billie Piper.

The new series of the ITV2 drama sees the actor playing Alex, a clean-living doctor who starts a romance with Piper's character Hannah.

As the chemistry heated up between the two characters, in real life Callum struggled to stop thinking about Piper's marriage to Laurence Fox and recent pregnancy.

"Billie and I had just met and it's so weird kissing someone you've just met - especially when they've just got married and they're pregnant at the time," Blue told Hot TV magazine. "I mean it's uncomfortable anyway, but add in those two factors and it's pretty awkward to say the least!"

Asked about the show's nude scenes, he replied: "I was always scared of nudity and sex scenes, but last year I was in a movie where I was completely naked the whole way through. That experience was terrifying at the beginning, but once you're naked you're just naked and nobody gives a s***.

Note: This is based on a BOOK. I've watched Series 1 (Season 1 to you americans) and it's really well written and funny. Of course its just topless (sometimes) and there's really nothing going on. The story though is superb. That's why Billie got into the role in the first place. Yes we're friends! haha.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl returns to ITV2 on Thursday at 10pm and on Friday this week, it's probably on Torrent.

From J.J. Abrams ("Lost"), Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, the team behind "Star Trek," "Mission: Impossible III" and "Alias," comes a new drama that will thrill, terrify and explore the blurring line between science fiction and reality.

When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and the passengers and crew have all died grisly deaths, FBI Special Agent OLIVIA DUNHAM (newcomer Anna Torv) is called in to investigate. After her partner, Special Agent JOHN SCOTT (Mark Valley, "Boston Legal"), is nearly killed during the investigation, a desperate Olivia searches frantically for someone to help, leading her to DR. WALTER BISHOP (John Noble, "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King"), our generation's Einstein. There's only one catch: he's been institutionalized for the last 20 years, and the only way to question him requires pulling his estranged son PETER (Joshua Jackson, "Dawson's Creek") in to help.

When Olivia's investigation leads her to manipulative corporate executive NINA SHARP (Blair Brown, "Altered States"), our unlikely trio along with fellow FBI Agents PHILLIP BROYLES (Lance Reddick, "The Wire"), CHARLIE FRANCIS (Kirk Acevedo, "Oz") and ASTRID FARNSWORTH (Jasika Nicole, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent") will discover that what happened on Flight 627 is only a small piece of a larger, more shocking truth.

FRINGE is directed by Emmy Award-winning Alex Graves ("The West Wing") and produced by Warner Bros. Television and Bad Robot Productions.
